Co-Owners and Founders David Theriot and David Schulkens
Cofounders and owners David Theriot and David Schulkens first met when they were assigned to Alpha Battery 1/141 Field Artillery of the Louisiana Army National Guard. With David T’s background in fitness and David S’s background in culinary, they were bound to make something extraordinary happen.
With years of personal training under his belt, David Theriot wanted a better way for his clients to stay on track outside of the gym. With David Schulkens’s background in fine dining throughout the New Orleans area for 10+ years, as well as a culinary arts degree from Le Cordon Bleu, he was the man for the job. Thus, Chomp Nola was born.
Together with the help of their team, they strive to help improve the community by providing high quality, healthy, and tasty meals fit for anyone looking to make positive eating changes without losing valuable time.

CHOMP (Short for “Custom Healthy • Meal Preparation”) NOLA is a local company designed with the health conscious in mind. We provide fresh, healthy prepared meals to the public. A new menu is conjured up every week featuring a variety of very distinct, healthy yet tasty meals, as well as our unique “Create a Chomp” menu, where the customer has the chance to customize his or her own meals. Chomp Nola’s customers, dubbed “Chompers,” have the capability to enjoy a freshly “home” cooked meal, free of guilt and feel as though they are a part of a special community looking out for their best interests.
